Question 1

Is the deposit really zero with GadiWaze?

Accepted Answer

Yes, without reservation. No amount is blocked on your card, no cash sum is asked for, no deposit is taken. It is written into our general terms. Where the big international brands routinely tie up 3,000 to 5,000 MAD for the length of the rental, your holiday budget stays available.

Question 2

Is a card pre-authorisation taken at pickup?

Accepted Answer

No, never. No imprint, no pre-authorisation, no temporary hold. Your card is only used to pay for the rental if that is the payment method you choose — nothing else is taken from it or frozen on it.

Question 3

Do you accept a debit card (Visa Electron, Maestro)?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Debit and credit cards are both accepted, with no distinction: since nothing is blocked on the card, the question of an authorisation limit simply does not arise. Cash is accepted too.

Question 4

Can I pay for my rental in cash?

Accepted Answer

Yes. In cash when we hand over the car, or by bank card — credit or debit. No prepayment is required when you book. For long-term rentals, bank transfer is accepted too.

Question 5

What excess applies in case of damage?

Accepted Answer

An excess applies in case of damage or theft; the exact amount is set out in the rental contract, handed to you before pickup. Do not confuse it with a deposit: the excess is the ceiling that would be left to you after an incident, it is never frozen or charged at the start. That is precisely why a no-deposit rental is still an insured rental.

Question 6

What insurance is included in the price?

Accepted Answer

Compulsory third-party liability insurance is included in every rental, along with theft and fire cover and 24/7 roadside assistance. The detail of the cover and of the applicable excess is set out in the rental contract.

Question 7

What documents do I need to show?

Accepted Answer

Two documents are enough: an ID (national ID card or passport) and a valid driving licence held for at least one year. Nothing else — no proof of address, no bank statement, no credit card to be shown as security. An international driving permit is not required.

Question 8

What is the minimum age to rent?

Accepted Answer

21, with a licence held for at least one year. Some premium vehicles, high-end SUVs and luxury models require 25. No young-driver surcharge is applied.

Question 9

How do I pick the car up at Al Massira airport?

Accepted Answer

A GadiWaze agent meets you in the arrivals hall, holding a sign with your name. No shuttle, no counter, no queue: you take the keys about ten minutes after collecting your luggage. The service is free and runs 24/7, night flights included.

Question 10

Do you deliver the car to my hotel?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We deliver and collect the vehicle in Agadir, Taghazout, at Al Massira airport and in Essaouira — at your hotel, riad or surf camp. Just give us the address when you book.

Question 11

What is the fuel policy?

Accepted Answer

Full to full. The car is handed over with a full tank and must come back the same way. Any missing fuel is charged on return.

Question 12

Is mileage limited?

Accepted Answer

No, it is unlimited across the whole fleet, with no restriction. A round trip to Marrakech (600 km) or a full loop through southern Morocco (2,000 km and more) makes no difference to the bill: there is no mileage surcharge.

Question 13

What happens if I return the car late?

Accepted Answer

Let us know on WhatsApp as soon as you know you will be late, and we will sort it out. A delayed flight, a drive that takes longer than planned: it happens, and it is far easier to settle with a message than in the car park on the way back.

Question 14

What should I do in case of an accident or breakdown?

Accepted Answer

Call our assistance line, available 24/7 on +212 655 771 930, by phone or on WhatsApp. In case of an accident, fill in the amicable accident report. In case of a breakdown, we come to you or send a replacement vehicle, usually within two hours. We also walk you through the paperwork.

Question 15

How do I cancel or change my booking?

Accepted Answer

Any cancellation must be made at least 24 hours before the rental starts. Date or vehicle changes are handled over WhatsApp or by email, subject to availability. The details are in our general terms and in your contract.
