Tafraout is one of Morocco's most beautiful Berber villages, nestled in a granite valley with pink and orange hues. The setting is unique: piles of round rocks, palm groves, white adobe houses and ochre earth. 4h from Agadir via a spectacular mountain road, Tafraout can only be discovered by car. Allow 200 km via Ait Baha. A comfortable car is recommended as the road winds, climbs and descends through the most impressive landscapes of southern Morocco. The region offers treasures: the famous rocks painted blue by Belgian artist Jean Verame, the Ameln valley with its Berber villages, the Ait Mansour palm grove. Tafraout is also known for its Berber crafts (slippers, carpets, black bee honey).
